Enjoy the latest new event in Denver, the Mile High Tree. This brilliantly lit, 110 foot all immersive art installation is the largest installation of its kind in North American. And at 39-feet in diameter, up to 140 people can get inside the tree to enjoy an immersive viewing experience. Along with the tree, they’ll be dazzling, oversized holiday ornaments. The tree was created by ILMEX Illumination, a globally renowned decorative lighting production company from Spain. The Mile High Tree is located in Sculpture park and visible from Speer Boulevard and the DPAC entrance at the intersection of 14th and Curtis streets.
The tree has free admission and will be open from Nov. 30th until Jan. 31st, so it’ll be easy to pop in and see it. Also, in the evenings from Nov 30th until January 1st, they’ll have light and music shows every 30 minutes on the hour and the half hour. These shows will play classic songs for Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and other holiday celebrations, all choreographed to the tree’s digital lights.
